LilliM is a powerful and dynamic fusion bellydance performance company directed by Melbourne dancers Briohney Tilley, HoneyBea (Bea Aguila), Bek Kelly & Sarah Moulton.
Each dancer brings together 8-13 years of deep devotional immersion in the Fusion Dance artform (previously known as Tribal Fusion) and in this collaboration, bringing their own inspiring and eclectic influence of traditional, contemporary & neo Fusion Belly Dance.
LilliM’s performances connects deeply with the audience as they weave together stories exploring the archetypes and elements and how these are experienced by the human existence through dance.
Meet The Dancers of LilliM
Bea Aguila (HoneyBea)
HoneyBea is a Chilean-born Creatrix, Fusion Dancer and Entrepreneur.
She is known for her unique artistic expression and passion for her professional ventures.
When not on a stage or teaching, she is usually working on The Cosmic Beehive, an online hub for her many creative endeavors and new plant nursery/dance and yoga space Moss Studios, which are a joint collaboration based in the heart of Melbourne, Australia.
Briohney Tilley
Briohney began her dance journey as an adult and immediately fell in love with movement as a way of connection with herself on a deeper level.
Intuitively drawn to Tribal Fusion Bellydance in 2012 (The first dance form she ever explored) she has been obsessed ever since!
Briohney plays with fusing different forms of movement including her love of fusion bellydance, contemporary, Indian fusion dance aesthetics and introduces elements from movement based practices like yoga and Qi Gong creating a unnique and expressive fluid style.
Briohney choreographs and performs in LilliM regularly around Melbourne with various world musicians and at festivals around Australia.
Sarah Moulton
Sarah is a lifelong dancer whose approach to Fusion Belly Dance sees it as a dance form where there is a level of mastery and devotion that is required as a means to achieve personal transformation and transcendence of the mind/body’s limitations. In the classes she teaches, she encougages her students to reclaim their body, confidence, and creativity while inspiring them to discover the truest expression of themself.
She is a regular performer at local and international events and festivals such as Subgenre, Belly Dance Halfas and Gala Shows, Boom Festival (Portugal), Ozora Festival (Hungary), Earth Frequency Festival (Queensland), Rainbow Serpent Festival (Victoria), Elements Festival (Queensland) and Dragon Dreaming Festival (New South Wales) and corporate events
Her approach to fusion belly dance is inspired by dances from the MENAHT region (Middle East, North Africa, Hellenic/Greek, and Turkey) and Central Asia, fusing contemporary with traditional roots, whilst also drawing on her own experiences as a classical ballet and contemporary dancer.
Bek Kelly
Bek Kelly has been immersed in dance and particularly Middle Eastern dance forms since her teen years.
Over her last 10+ years of training and performing she has been a regular performer in the festival scene, a teacher, and a student, both locally and internationally.
Bek’s love for dance was born through its place as a source of connection and community in her life.
Putting movement onstage has allowed her to give those thousands of studio hours a direction, and presents an opportunity for her as an artist to bring beauty into the world.
